Specialized materials include photolastic two-part resin and hardener epoxy. Reliable uses this to make contoured plastic sheets to coat complex shapes. Once hardened, reflective metallic glue is applied to adhere the sheets, and the part is ready for stress analysis. An example is a landing gear coated especially for stress testing. |
